Koksal Erenturk

Köksal Erenturk has a BSc degree from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, İstanbul, Türkiye 1994; MSc degree from the Istanbul University, Institute of Graduate Studies in Applied Sciences, İstanbul, Türkiye 1997; and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Türkiye 2002. Currently he is professor of electrical and computer engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Department of both Electrical and Computer Engineering, Atatürk University, Erzurum, Türkiye. He has also served as a faculty member at different universities in different countries such as Kuwait, Sweden, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and etc. He is a member of IEEE since 2008, and holding more than 10 awards from broad area of scientific societies. He has authored and coauthored more than 150 journal and conference papers. His work has focused on machine learning, artificial intelligence, deep learning, generative adversarial networks, fuzzy logic and control, artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, development and application of control theory to a variety of mechatronic systems, with a focus on observation and estimation-based control as well as highly efficient power converters, resonant and multilevel converters, including the modeling, control, and development of prototypes for various industrial applications in electric traction, renewable energy, power supplies for drives, energy storage devices, and their optimal control for electrified transportation and renewable energy applications.
